Stepping out of her comforting womb to her husband's cold arms

In his uncaring grasp, we can look out upon the universe.

Hopping he doesn’t drop us before we learn to walk

The night sky A tapestry of stars

Each light a thread to be revealed

Stories unfold from worlds afar

To be told not left concealed 

Black holes hiding distant eye’s

Time rolls back to the ancient past 

Nebulas forming far away sky’s

We set out exploring at last

We voyage back to the moon

After half an age we will return

And then further we’ll travel soon

To see what the universe has for us to learn
